New technologies include built in Web Viewer that can interactively display web pages in a database without a plugin or xDBC connectivity and the ability to name objects in layout mode (a big plus for developers.) Both server and client have been updated to be Universal applications for Intel based Macs (one caveat; there are very few Universal plugins though I am guessing that updates are soon to come.)
